In- person appointments are always preferable, but not always practical for some people.  Most visits can be done by internet video conferencing and/or telephone.  The appointments are made the same way and charges are the same.  Please note that the insurance coverage is not available on the initial virtual visits and is fairly unlikely on follow-ups.

Internet video conferencing is the best option for the initial visit.  It is simple to set up, the equipment is cheep and is available in all computer stores and on the internet.  All you need is a computer, a video cam and wide band internet connection (DSL or Cable).  I use Windows Live Messenger for the conference.  It is available for free download on internet.  Most follow-ups can be done by regular telephone, and another video conference can be done if we have difficulties in managing the case.

If you need help in setting up for the video link, I may be able to advise you.
